Overlooking Central Park from high above 5th Avenue is this 7,750 square-foot apartment spread over two floors that actress Anne Hathaway used to rent for $37,000 per month when she lived there with then-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri. The 5-bedroom, 6.5-bath unit is one of the largest in the building and has surrounding views of everything from the Empire State Building, Freedom Tower and St. Patrick’s Cathedral. After Hathaway and Follieri moved out it went back on the rental market, successfully garnering as high as $70,000 per month in rent at one point. It was listed for sale back in 2016 and has come down in price a few times only to re-enter the market a few weeks ago for $19.5 million.

Located in The Olympic Tower building, developed by shipping tycoon Aristotle Onasis in 1975, the building made a name for itself before being built by virtue of being the first mixed-use building zoned for this part of 5th Avenue. The 225 condos sit on the 30 floors above 21 floors of offices and retail in one of the most popular sections of Manhattan. This is the same building where Alessandra and Allegra Gucci, granddaughters to Guccio Gucci, founder of the major fashion label, once listed a penthouse for $45 million.

This unit is a gleaming white affair from the living room pictured above to the kitchen you can see below. The gallery-sized living room above is 41 feet long with white Thasos marble floor with a wet bar and fireplace at one end. The kitchen has marble countertops with enough room for a couch and dining table in an adjacent eating area.

The library/media room has an eight-foot projection screen with wood paneled walls and deep-set mullions to act as a place to hold drinks if you’re entertaining in this room.

The dining room, with serving station, is large enough to seat twelve and shows the continuous floor to ceiling windows through the unit.
